Gepubliceerd: 15 March 2016 • Leestijd: 0 minuten en 44 seconden • English Dit artikel is meer dan een jaar oud.41.1 per cent of students of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences has taken part in the National Student Survey (NSE). This percentage is comparable to the previous two years.
In the NSE, students assess important topics such as educational content, lecturers and facilities at their educational institution. The outcome of this survey will be used for the selection guide for higher education (Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs), which gives prospective students an indication about how students and experts rate universities of applied sciences and universities.
Improvements
The executive board and the deans at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences use the outcomes of the survey to implement improvements. According to Charlotte Smitshoek from the department of corporate strategy “this is also why the NSE is important to educational institutions. The fact that the turnout percentage has risen since 2013 is proof of this. In 2012, a mere 33 per cent of students completed the survey.”
Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences performs better than four other mayor Universities of Applied Sciences, the so-called G5 (The Hague University of Applied Sciences 40.8%, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences 38.7%, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences 36.4% and InHolland University of Applied Sciences 35.1%). Nationally, the percentage for both universities of applied sciences and universities is 42.8%.
The full results will be announced on 12 May.
