From this year, the Rotterdam Business School (RBS) courses will be held in the erstwhile Zadkine College premises on the Posthumalaan. It is busy inside the building, especially near the lifts and staircases.

First-year students will need to attain a certain number of credits before they can progress to the second year. So how exactly does the Binding Study Recommendation (BSR) work and what do you need to think about for this coming year?

Mijn kennismaking met Chicago was niet zo’n succes. Het was spannend en vermoeiend. Ik vroeg me af of ik wel de juiste keuze had gemaakt om hier de komende maanden te gaan studeren. Gelukkig werd het beter toen ik m’n medestudenten ontmoette.

De Nationale Ombudsman en de Tweede Kamer willen dat de Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs veel sneller de telefoon opneemt als studenten bellen met een vraag. ‘We zijn het een beetje zat.’

Liesel (24) is eerstejaarsstudent van de lerarenopleiding natuurkunde en kiest haar kleding zorgvuldig: ‘Ik vind het belangrijk dat mensen weten hoeveel impact hun kleding heeft op het milieu.’

Ardiana Prima, vierdejaars trade management gericht op Azië (tma), studeert momenteel tien maanden in Indonesië. Na een uitwisseling in Yogyakarta loopt ze nu stage in Jakarta. ‘Ik wil later met mijn kennis iets goeds doen voor mijn geboorteland.’
